05 DAYS CLASSIC TANZANIA SAFARI

DAY 1 – Arrival in Kilimanjaro → Moshi

Transfer Time: Kilimanjaro International Airport → Moshi | ±1 hour

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our representative and assisted with your transfer to Moshi town.

Check in at Springlands Hotel, a comfortable and well-located hotel popular with safari travelers. The rest of the day is at leisure to recover from your flight and prepare for the safari ahead.

DAY 2 – Moshi → Lake Manyara National Park

Drive Time: ±4 hours

Depart Moshi at 08:00 AM and drive toward Lake Manyara National Park, enjoying scenic views of the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

After a picnic lunch, enjoy a late afternoon game drive, the best time to view wildlife in this park. Lake Manyara is known for its lush groundwater forest and varied ecosystems.

Wildlife commonly seen includes:

• Elephants resting under fig and mahogany trees
• Zebras, giraffes, impalas, and buffalo
• Hippos near the lake shore
• Baboons and blue monkeys in large troops

DAY 3 – Lake Manyara → Serengeti National Park (via Olduvai Gorge)

Drive Time: ±3–4 hours

After breakfast, depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

En route, stop at Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important archaeological sites in the world, where early human fossils were discovered. Learn about human evolution and admire the dramatic gorge scenery shaped by ancient tectonic activity.

Continue into the Serengeti plains, where wildlife sightings begin almost immediately. Enjoy a game drive as you head toward your camp.

DAY 4 – Serengeti → Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Game Viewing: Morning to early afternoon

After breakfast, embark on a half-day game drive across the vast Serengeti plains. This area hosts one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa.

Expect sightings of:

• Wildebeest and zebra herds
• Lions, cheetahs, and leopards
• Elephants, giraffes, hyenas, and plains game

Enjoy a picnic lunch before driving toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, ascending into the cooler highlands.

DAY 5 – Ngorongoro Crater → Moshi / Airport

Drive Time: ±4–5 hours

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's most concentrated wildlife areas.

This is one of the best places in Tanzania to spot the endangered black rhino. Other wildlife commonly seen includes:

• Large lion prides, including black-maned males
• Leopards and cheetahs
• Buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, and antelope
• Flamingos and other water birds

After the game drive, return to Moshi (Springlands Hotel) or transfer directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
