07 DAYS TANZANIA SAFARI

Day 1 – Arrival in Tanzania | Kilimanjaro Airport → Moshi

Transfer Time: ±1 hour

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), meet your safari representative and transfer to Moshi, at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Relax and recover from your flight in preparation for the safari ahead.

Day 2 – Moshi → Lake Manyara National Park

Transfer Time: ±4 hours

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Enjoy a picnic lunch followed by a late afternoon game drive, the best time to view wildlife.

Expect sightings of elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, hippos, baboons, and tree-dwelling monkeys, with the Great Rift Valley escarpment providing a dramatic backdrop.

Day 3 – Lake Manyara → Serengeti National Park (via Olduvai Gorge)

Transfer Time: ±3–4 hours

Drive to Serengeti National Park, stopping at Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important archaeological sites in human history. Continue into the Serengeti plains with game viewing en route.

Day 4 – Serengeti National Park

Game Viewing: Morning – Afternoon

Enjoy a half-day game drive across the endless Serengeti plains with a picnic lunch. The park is home to vast herds of wildebeest and zebra, as well as lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and hyenas.

Return to camp in the late afternoon for relaxation.

Day 5 – Serengeti → Ngorongoro Crater → Karatu

Transfer Time: ±3–4 hours

After breakfast, travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater for a game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers exceptional wildlife density and one of the best chances to spot the endangered black rhino.

In the afternoon, ascend the crater rim and continue to Karatu.

Day 6 – Karatu → Tarangire National Park → Moshi

Transfer Time: Karatu → Tarangire (±2 hrs) | Tarangire → Moshi (±3 hrs)

Drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and riverine landscapes. Enjoy a game drive before returning to Moshi in the late afternoon.

Day 7 – Departure | Moshi → Kilimanjaro International Airport

Transfer Time: ±1 hour

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your onward international flight.
